Do you love working in a team atmosphere where you know that your contrubution is appreciated? Our client, a 100% New Zealand owned and operated Independent Company who supplies welding equipment, parts and consumables, is looking for a Finance Administrator to join their office team.
The roles function will include:
- Maintaining and reconciling financial transactions
- Preparation of regular statements showing receipt, payments and balances of accounts
- To ensure revenue and expenditure is accounted for and all debts are collected
- To maintain the accounting filing system
Some of the key tasks and responsibilities include:
-Maintaining general and subsidiary ledgers and journals
-Payables and receivables
-Debtors and creditors
-Bank reconciliations
-Maintaining statistical records and preparation of periodic reports
-GST
-Office duties including answering telephone when required
You will have finance/accounts/book keeping experience and understand the principles of book keeping and routine accounting procedures. With an ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages the world of figures is a passion of yours.
