Fleet Controller Permanent Position in Palmerston North Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is an exciting role working closely with dynamic fleets that are moving into a new era of efficient fleet management and optimisation. The Vehicle Fleet Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one or more vehicle fleets while also supporting all other company clients as required. Focal areas of this role will be: •Daily support of their assigned clients fleet vehicle requirements as well as interaction with their on-line Pool Vehicle Booking System •The timely and accurate processing and input of transport information into the Company computerised Fleet Information System and the Accounting software programme •Ensuring clients receive accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting, ensuring all information captured is accurate and reflects the true running costs of the client vehicle fleet along with any other reports the client requires •Ensuring that client monthly vehicle accounts are correct and are accurately reconciled and processed for payment when due •Provide day to day administration of client fleets to ensure they are managed effectively and efficiently; The ideal candidate will have: An understanding of the NZ automotive industry A motivated attitude with a focus on customer service The ability to build positive and healthy relationships with clients and suppliers An understanding of web based software Some administration/accounts knowledge and/or experience A positive and responsible attitude The ability to take ownership for a role/task and sustain responsibility until deadline The ability to multi task and manage time effectively The ability to analyse data and build reports in excel Experience with financial reports and budgeting Previous successful experience in the fleet management industry and/or automotive industry would be considered an advantage.
